Waste Management Launches CNG Fleet in Tennessee
Houston-based Waste Management has launched a fleet of CNG refuse trucks and opened a new CNG station in Jackson, Tennessee. Now 17 of 35 trucks in the Jackson fleet trucks are fueled by CNG.
AMP Americas Begins Construction on Public CNG Station in Texas
AMP Americas has broken ground on a new public-access ampCNG fueling station in Buda, Texas. US Foods is the station’s anchor fleet. This will be ampCNG’s eighth station in Texas and the 20th station in the company’s network.
USPS Mail Contractor Tests Cummins Westport ISL G Near Zero Engine
Sheehy Mail Contractors, a U.S. Postal Service contractor, has been testing the Cummins Westport ISL G Near Zero 8.9-liter natural gas engine using RNG in two of its semitrucks. Sheehy Mail Contractors has reported producing near-zero emissions while driving the trucks daily on the East Coast since June.
Cummins Westport Appoints New President
Bart van Aerle has been appointed president of Cummins Westport. He is currently the vice president and managing director of Prins Autogassystemen BV, a Westport Fuel Systems company in the Netherlands.
