Clean Energy Fuels Signs LNG Contract with Ryder System
Clean Energy Fuels has signed a four-year LNG contract with Ryder System, a logistics and transportation solutions company, to fuel a 20-truck fleet that moves goods for Toyota Motor Manufacturing. To fuel the trucks, Clean Energy will open an LNG station in Georgetown, Kentucky, that will dispense 380,000 gges annually.
UPS Signs Largest RNG Purchase Contract to Date
UPS, a global logistics company, has signed its largest RNG fuel purchase agreement ever—for 10 million gges—with Wisconsin fuel provider Big Ox Energy. The agreement runs through 2024.
Cummins Westport Gets Order for 106 Near-Zero-NOx Buses
The 2018 Cummins Westport L9N near-zero-NOx engine—formerly called the ISL G Near Zero—will power more than 100 New Flyer Xcelsior CNG buses in British Columbia. The South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (also called TransLink) has placed an order for 106 new 40-foot, heavy-duty natural gas buses, which will serve Metro Vancouver.
Trillium CNG Contracts to Upgrade Fort Worth CNG Station
Trillium CNG, part of the Love’s family of companies, has signed a contract with the Fort Worth Transportation Authority to provide several upgrades to aging equipment at the transit agency’s existing CNG fueling facility. Trillium CNG will replace three gas-powered compressors, upgrade the dryer, and replace all six fueling dispensers with more-efficient equipment as well as provide operations and maintenance services at the private station.
