American Natural Gas Acquires Questar Fueling Company

American Natural Gas has acquired Questar Fueling, a subsidiary of Questar Corp., for an undisclosed price. The deal includes Questar Fueling’s 11 CNG stations in California, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and Utah. Some of the largest fleets in the U.S. are anchor tenants of these medium- and heavy-duty vehicle fueling stations, including Anheuser-Busch, Frito-Lay, and Central Freight Lines. Each station, which has four to seven fueling lanes, is open to other fleets and the general public. The deal closed on Dec. 16, 2016.

Waste Management Releases Sustainability Report

Waste Management has released its 2016 Sustainability Report, which includes the news that the company now runs more than 5,100 NGVs, the largest fleet of natural gas–powered refuse trucks in North America.

EPA Certifies Landi Renzo’s Dedicated CNG Conversion of Ford E-450 Van

The EPA has certified Landi Renzo’s dedicated CNG conversion of the 2017 Ford E-450 cutaway van. The company has been producing a dedicated CNG version of the 6.8-liter V-10 heavy-duty vehicle since the 2014 model year under Ford’s Qualified Vehicle Modifier program. The modified vehicle retains its factory warranty. Landi Renzo is seeking CARB certification as well.
